With more than 25 years’ experience working in the health and social care sector, Kathleen had demonstrated her ability to lead, collaborate and drive change. A psychologist, academic, entrepreneur and former charity CEO, Kathleen has won national and international awards for her work. She was named 2014 CMG Irish Healthcare Person of the Year, 2015 European Association of Palliative Care Early Researcher of the Year and also served as an expert advisor to HIQA. Kathleen is a skilled, experienced mixed methods, pragmatic researcher with exceptional facilitation and communication skills. Often described as a ‘can-do’ person, Kathleen has a unique ability to quickly understand what is required, formulate solutions and distil information. She has a strong interest in using tech to engage and connect and an eye for detail. A strategist, with strong project and people management expertise, Kathleen has secured more than €1.5m external funding for new service development initiatives in recent years.
